Our cargo transportation product perfectly suits the careful planning and the efficient moving of parts and raw materials required by the automotive and aerospace industries. Transporting oversized and awkwardly shaped items or OOG cargo such as airframes and engines.

Freight Direct can assist at every level of the supply chain, from the shipping of small components or fragile prototype parts, to arranging dedicated aircraft engine or automotive delivery. Our cost-effective, multimodal systems use specialist shipping techniques that deliver all cargo intact and on time, with traceability and tracking at all delivery points.

Freight Direct have been operating on the market since 1999. Since then we have specialised in transporting cargo at controlled temperatures of -20° to +30°C. These include pharmaceuticals, chemicals, specialty food products or hazardous goods. All of which require certificates and ADR equipment to be transported.

We utilise modern Mercedes-Benz Sprinters equipped with IGLOOCAR cooling bodies and Thermo-King V300 MAX 50 aggregates, allowing the transport of goods in two separate temperatures (Bi-Temp). A record of temperatures in the refrigerator are stored in the certified register Thermo King Touch Print, printable at any time. The current temperature in the cargo space is made available online via GPS, and after completion of the contract we send a report in electronic form covering the entire route.

To ensure the safety of your products, all the vehicles have ATP certificates, required for transporting perishable foodstuffs internationally. Furthermore, Freight Direct have heat maps onboard mapping the distribution of temperature in the cargo space in two reference outside temperatures (-30°C and +35°C), which allows them to be qualified as consistent with GDP (Good Distribution Practice). All of the vehicles meet the stringent emission standards of EURO 6.
